TEZO STARS V/S MOKOWE MATCH POSTPONED
The long much awaited day was not honored as expected. After
a weeks long preparation at Tezo training ground, the boys walked shoulders low
on realizing that Mokowe were not in their dinner menu. We learned with a lot
of regret that Kikulacho had their special case considered. They had pleaded
that they play three matches against all teams from Lamu at the
very weekend.
The disappointment was evident in almost every face at
Bustani field of play as even the referees had shown up.
“We are so sorry were informing you of the postponement of
the days fixture to probably the weekend” called the fixture secretary Japhet
Kaingu.
It’s a provision at the Federations office to give in to
some requests so as all matches are honored. Its so costly to honor a single
match on a trip rather play all three matches at once.
Kikulacho were bold
enough to consider their financial position for a cost effective budget.
Tezo stars were a full house. All the new recruits sighed
over the transfer window were available and two had a start place in the lineup.
The boys in college were present. These hungry vultures looked voracious enough
to feed on Mokowe to their extinction.
“Am certain of winning the days fixture on a high goal
scoring show” Coach Harrison Mbwana had earlier worned!
“We will definitely win and extend our unbeaten home record”
confident team Captain Michael Baya concluded at a press conference.
The game was scheduled for July 21 , 2013 the
coming Sunday. We will win the match-AMEN.
